Do you have a pet? Fido, the family German shepherd or Kitty, your precious tabby? And how do they live? They probably sleep upon a nice little cushion at night and wake up to the sound of food in their bowls. They have reign over the grounds when you go to work, freedom to stroll wherever, whenever they please. Farm animals have no such luck.

Jammed into battery cages, trucked hours down the road in spaces just big enough to breath, then shoved into a slaughterhouse and lined up for death. Their pens are lit artificially; some animals never even see the light of day. Is this how you would treat your pet? No. It’s illegal. You would be arrested for charges of animal abuse!

So why do we let these big corporations abuse our burgers-to-be? Is it because we eat them for dinner? This is not an excuse. Animal abuse is wrong across the board! Something needs to be done about this! Save Our Burgers is a new cause not for the creation of vegetarians, but for the creation of change. We don't want everyone in the world to go vegetarian, we want our meat delivered in a more humane way.

Our studies (the survey on the website listed above) say that more than 50% of people entering dislike the way their meat was being treated, and would take part in action against it. Well, this is your chance. With media coverage and a substantial amount of people backing the idea, this could evoke real change in the food industry.

I'm asking for something simple: when you sign this petition, I want you to go and tell 5 people about it. If you tell 5 people, who in turn go and tell 5 more people, who tell more and more people we could reach our goal in no time!
