The current Federal Continuing Budget Resolution expires March 4th. The Republican proposal introduced by the House Appropriations Committee for the remaining seven months of this Federal budget year includes massive cuts to domestic programs including the elimination of the Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program.

Even the two NYS Republican congressmen have announced their opposition to this new Republican Continuing Resolution, saying in a letter to Boehner that the cuts will have a disproportionate impact on New York City and Long Island.

Help us thank the NY congressional delegation for opposing these cuts and let our senators know how important their leadership is in overcoming these cuts when they come to the floor in the senate.
