Jake has lucky enough to receive a home and immediate treatment for injures through the Networking abilities of Rebound Hounds, a New Hope Partner and ongoing fundraising campaign with The Lexus Project. Jake is need of serious immediate medical attention and is not receiving the care he required from Animal Services. Days have been spent going back and forth between the office and the rescuers in order to resolve the situation.

After the 10 day hold, many calls and emails later, the group was told that they were not releasing Jake. They were going to kill him instead. At the very best, if they decide not to they are going to keep him in isolation for mandatory 6 months. Yet again no mention of medical care. It seems that the DOH is unable to care for this dog and should be release to those that can.

Time is the essence as advocates are preparing to go to court tomorrow on November 18, 2013 to prevent his needless death. I ask as well as those involve, that you please sign this petition to let the Courts know that this needless course of action, it will only take a moment to do so but the make a world a difference to Jake and his supporters.
