Bugsy and many other animals are in desperate need at shelters. We all know this.

This dog is an incredible dog that used to be our neighbors dog.

Please! Read his story. TIME SENSITIVE-he doesn't have much longer to live people.

(This is Bugsy. He is a Pit/Terrier mix and seriously an absolutely incredible dog. Very loving, very playful, very sweet.

He loves us more than his worthless owner. Not sure of his age-but think 5-6??

The story-this is our worthless neighbors dog. He had a huge backyard with a 6 foot fence-ran all day, happy, can

chase balls till he drops..then worthless neighbor moved others into his home with 2 old dogs. Bugsy lost his freedom

and I guess the dogs didn't get along so worthless one started chaining Bugsy in the back..then he moved him out of

the secure backyard into the unfenced side yard-CHAINED all the time.

Apparently, Bugsy got pissed and ran away one morning. Dog catcher was glad to give him a ride to the shelter. No

tags, no ID. Worthless one drove around the block once looking for him---whoohoooo.

Hubby went to the shelter and found him. Bugsy has had no vet care, never out of his surroundings and was freaking

out of course. Vet tech was giving him shots and yep, he bit her. He went into quarantine for the 10 days. That was up

on Sunday.

If worthless owner had taken him to the vet for his rabies he would not be in doggy jail still. Said owner is more afraid

he's in trouble and a cheap dickhead apparently.

We can't have him here--we rent and you know the story with home owners insurance.

Worthless owner hasn't even claimed him, been to see him and is being a total worthless asshole.

We have been to see Bugsy a couple of times...told a couple of white lies to get in the back but so what...we didn't

care about getting in trouble, we just wanted the dog to not loose human contact.

He hasn't been outside that cage in 12 days, no grass, no running, no rolling in the dirt...just a damned cage.

He is healthy and has had his shots now..and Advantaged. His bail was $264.00 and there have been a couple of

kennel days on top of that initial quote.

This is breaking our hearts..this dog, honest to God, is an amazing dog..extremely smart and well behaved. He is a dog

that loves to run and play and has NEVER shown any aggression towards my hubby or myself and we played with him

ALL the time. Because worthless one never did. (his priority is women and beer).

They have classified Bugsy as un-adoptable because of his breed, age and the bite to the vet tech. That means Bugsy

will be euthanized very soon.

We are doing everything we can to save this dog. The owner is NO help. We were told it may be possible with the

extenuating circumstances that we could adopt him. But we can't because of renting.

Is there anyone out there that has ANY ideas or suggestions????? We are waiting for Animal Control to call back with

some more info right now.

Contact this NO KILL shelter and let them know killing animals based on breed and age is wrong. Just because a dog that's a Pit Terrier bites someone who is sticking a needle with no warning in a scared and lost animal DOES NOT make them an aggressive dog.
