Delaware County, NY could be devastated by industrial hydro-fracking. While it seems like much of the county might be protected by being in the NYC watershed, there are no guarantees. We must protect our farms and our visitor-based economy, our wildlife, and our way of life from fracking and its by-products, including huge traffic impacts. We can -- and must -- use our ability for home rule to ban heavy industry from our town and roads.

We are staring down the barrel of Delaware County, NY being devastated by industrial hydro-fracking. While it seems like much of the county might be protected by being in the NYC watershed, there are no guarantees. We must protect our farms and our visitor-based economy, our wildlife, and our way of life from fracking and its by-products, including huge traffic impacts.
