Mike Reese, in addition to his brutal and violent crackdown on peaceful public protest, has lied to the public about a rape call that went unanswered. Rather than tell the truth, he blamed the lack of a response on a lack of officers available, saying that they were tied up defending the city against OccupyPortland.
Since that day, it has been discovered that he intentionally and willingly deceived the public and his Police Commissioner/Mayor.

Mike Reese, in addition to his brutal and violent crackdown on peaceful public protest, has lied to the public about a rape call that went unanswered. Rather than tell the truth, he blamed the lack of a response on a lack of officers available, saying that they were tied up defending the city against OccupyPortland. This fabrication of the truth has since been exposed by publications such as The Oregonian, Willamette Week and The Portland Mercury.

Mike Reese lied to the public, he lied to his boss and he abused his position of authority. He no longer has the trust of the citizens he is sworn to protect. It is time for him to go and it is time for you to fire him.
