Allow NY Maple Producers to Tap Trees on State Land

The Issue

Maple producers from New York State wanted to be allowed to tap maple trees on state property and the bill passed the assembly, the senate and was signed by the governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo. Now, Robert Davies, NYS Forester, refuses to enact the law and allow maple producers from New York to tap on state lands. In the tapping of trees, there is no harm done to the tree and almost everyone loves maple syrup! So, tell Robert Davies that New York State maple producers should be able to tap maple trees on state land! Then, give him a call at 518-402-9405 and tell him you want change! Thanks for your support.
