Ringling Brothers has been fined $270k for animal abuse and there is documented footage of cruelty acts upon the animals from the trainers. These poor animals are taken in as young as babies, chained, beaten with bullhooks (actually seen even during a performance), caged, punished just to perform tricks. They should be retired into sanctuaries where they can be loved, allowed to run free and not be abused!
