Once upon a time, I purchased expensive "seed starting kits". Gone are those days! Just about any container can be reused to plant seeds in such as butter tubs, milk jug bottoms, soda jug bottoms, egg cartons and plastic cups. Simply put your soil in the container, plant the seeds, cover with plastic wrap for humidity, set in a sunny window and you're on your way! Not only are you growing your own food supply, but you're also reducing landfill waste as well!
