There is little to no evidence that killing 90 sharks will benefit humans, sharks, or the ecosystem. Surfers, swimmers, divers, and snorkelers know the risks of entering the water, and do so despite that risk. This might thin out the shark numbers in the short term, but it will not prevent other sharks from coming to the area or scare away the remaining ones.
