John Muir helped found Yosemite National Park and several others in the U.S., but his biggest disappointment was when San Francisco dammed the Hetch Hetchy Valley for drinking water. Hetch Hetchy is a Yosemite look alike with spectacular waterfalls, and glacial carved granite monoliths. If the voters of San Francisco approve the measure on the November ballot the inital steps will be taken to look for alternative avenues to find a sustainable water supply to the city.

I need your help with a petition to restore one of the natural wonders of our world. Hetch Hetchy, is a glacial valley that is presently filled with water but was once the sister valley to Yosemite. Wilderness after all, is where we free our mindS. And we need to preserve these natural places for future generations.
