Sharks are an integral part of the survival of the ocean ecosystem. Everyone on the planet has the responsibility to take care of this essential resource for ourselves and future generations. Let us be the first inland state to support the ban of shark fin trade and join the coastal states that have already passed this bill. I will be presenting this petition along with supporting documents to our state senators as soon as I can get 5,000 signatures.
