News 12 Report, with snippets of the video:  http://www.news12.com/articleDetail.jsp?articleId=322708&position=1&news_type=news

EDIT: The video was posted on Vime by Mr. Cox, and apart from butchering Mr. Rabadi's name in the title, he gave NO CREDIT whatsoever to the makers of the video, and later commented that he did more than anyone to increase the views of the video, a shameful attempt at making us think he did us a favor. The video was re-uploaded to Youtube, where you can now watch it  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nNNO5L_paA

About 7pm on the night of  June 6th, a New Rochelle High School student posted a video of Mr. Rabadi's AP Statistics and Calculus classes lip syncing and dancing to Carly Rae Jepsen's hit, 'Call Me Maybe'

With overwhelming and international viewer-base, the video was an overnight success, and was the talk of the day on Thursday, June 8th. However, Mr. Robert Cox, Managing Editor of Talk of the Sound published an article not only insinuating innuendo between a highly respected teacher and some of the schools most hard-working and succesfull students, but also insulting their character and judgement.
The Article included numerous inaccurate references to the recent Marisa Anton case, a completely irrelevant and out-of-the-box issue

By publishing this slander, there was an outrage in the school disctrict, involving calls to the higher-ups about the video as the misinformed public were misdirected into thinking outside of context.

Additionally, Mr. Cox deprived deserving students of their reward for a year worth of sleepless nights and long days in preparation for APs. Why didn't Mr. Cox write about the hard work of New Rochelle students instead? He also undermined and struck down the talent, skill and hard work of the student who not only published the video, but also filmed, directed, edited and produced the video, exactly what schools are supposed to advocate for. What if because of you, the student, who could be an aspiring 'Steven Speilberg' give up on his skill and talent, because YOU'RE the result of creative expression of ideas.

Now, as New Rochelleans and Human Beings, we ask why? Why did you have to write the article?

As a compassionate father, what effect do you think your slander has on your son? A fantastic gentleman who attends the same school you repeatedly publish articles against, with the same teachers and faculty you continously insult and put down. How do you think your son feels when his father writes against the very institution that he spends most of his day in? The very institution that's preparing him for the future?

How dare you compare Mr. Rabadi, an esteemed and highly honored and qualified educator with Marisa Anton? Mr Rabadi's students are amongst the highest performing, not only because of their individual efforts, but also because of Mr. Rabadi's humor, skill and ability to relate to his students. If you took the time to interview a few of his students, which i am sure you CAN but DID NOT do, they will attest to his genius and wonderful personality.

As a result of the very video you indirectly caused the doom of, more students have displayed interest in participating in the school's AP Program. Think about it like this...if you didn't publish that baloney, there would be students out there saving money, and learning more as a result of the video. You have indirectly robbed multiple students of their money and intelligence.

I think i speak for my fellow colleagues when i say this; all we ask is recounting your article (especially referring to the inaccuracy of some of the statements), apologize for insulting Mr Rabadi and his students, and for you to request the re-uploading of the video so we can all enjoy the innocent, education-promoting and contrived humor that you call 'inappropriate'. And with all due respect, please don't write such nonsense again.
