For the second year in a row, the Sidwell Friend's administration decided that it was in the best interest of the school to cancel a once annual event--Founder's Day.  The cancellation, brought on by a threat of showers, prompted numerous students to email both the head of school, Tom Farquhar, and the Upper School principal, Lee Palmer, requesting that they reschedule the event. Thus far, their requests have been met with, at best, tepid enthusiasm, and many believe that this response is wholly inadequate. The purpose of this petition is to show the administration that every student believe Founder's Day can and should be rescheduled. Sign with your sidwell email and real name if you believe!
