Hi everyone, recently our reptile rescue group came across a seriously emaciated bearded dragon lizard on craigslist. Every bone in his spine, legs, and skull were showing through his skin. His spine is extremely malformed due to lack of nutrition. Wanting to rescue him, we contacted the authorities about his condition, but since he is a lizard, they refused to do anything about the sheer case of starvation this poor animal went through. He is struggling for life in his new rescue home, and barely has energy to lift his head. He has seen a vet and he confirmed he hasn't eaten in possibly over a month. Would you starve your dog for a month and expect not to get animal cruelty charges? Lets' show the media that we care no matter if it's a dog, cat or lizard. It's still a living being!
