Repeal DADT Now ! !

The Issue

Tell your senators to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" NOW!

The Senate is scheduled to vote in a matter of days on whether to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" – but anti-equality senators led by John McCain have threatened to filibuster the bill; we'll need every single vote to win.

Years of political groundwork are on the line here, and there's no guarantee this will be a victory.

We need your help to show that a majority of Americans want this discriminatory law repealed – once and for all. Every senator needs to know this is important, whether they're already on our side or not.

We have a chance to make history. Please, send your message today.

Rodolfo IbarraPetition StarterWhen we went to the voting precincts in November, 2008, we sent our message to each and every one of our elected officials that we want change we can believe in. Here we are in October, 2009 and there is no consensus on health care reform and the lies, bickering and delays continue. We are spending $2.7 Billion a day on war that we should not be fighting. All we are doing is creating more enemies for America, and there are far too many Americans who are currently unemployed. I am here to illustrate my disappointment and frustration with the political process and the politicians currently in office. I have been talking with a lot of Americans these last couple of days. We need to let elected officials know that we intend to throw out each and every one of them during the next election cycle unless they turn this country around.
