Evidence that has been accumulating over the past decade suggests that Americans may be living in the shadow of one of the most pernicious and outrageous hoaxes that have ever been perpetrated on the citizens of a developed country in the history of the world.

The destruction of World Trade Center Buildings 1, 2, and 7, and the destruction of a portion of the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 was officially attributed to the malicious, coordinated action of a handful of Saudi Arabian terrorists who, wielding box cutters (of all things!), somehow managed to commandeer four commercial airliners in mid-flight and, while our national air defense conveniently stood down, succeeded in flying three of them into the abovementioned targets, the fourth reportedly having been brought down short of its target by the heroic action of a number of passengers. In the aftermath of the shock and stark horror of these appalling events, no alternative explanation of their true cause was even considered.

Ten years of intense and meticulous scrutiny by concerned scientists and engineers, however, have brought forth one truly chilling alternative explanation, that the collapse of the three WTC buildings, one of which was not struck by an airliner, was in fact caused by controlled implosion demolition with the use of professionally placed thermate explosives (fragments of which were found in the debris from the collapsed buildings), and that both the damage to the Pentagon and the deep furrow in a Pennsylvania cornfield were caused not by airliners (of which no debris was found) but by cruise missiles. Incredibly, the crime scenes were not secured, and the steel construction debris from the collapsed towers was quickly hauled away and shipped overseas to be melted down, thus destroying valuable evidence. 

In addition to the discovery of thermate fragments, ongoing research by physicists and structural engineers has shown that both the free-fall speed of the building collapses and the precise containment of the falling debris within the footprints of the buildings would be impossible with any mechanism other than professional controlled implosion demolition technology using precision placement of shaped demolition charges. Circumstantial factors raise further suspicions. The WTC complex was losing money, and it was faced with the necessity for a vast and extremely expensive asbestos mitigation project. Its owners, covered by a double-indemnity insurance policy, profited handsomely from the buildings' destruction, and the stunningly fearful event provided instant, wholesale public support for what became the George W. Bush administration's primary mission: the war against terror and the disastrous, ill-conceived campaign against Iraq, the clandestine motivation for which was clearly to establish U.S. control over the world's second largest oil reserve.
