The crime of rape should be manslaugter reason being once you are raped the person you were to be is gone. You are physically the same person but mentally all you thought and felt is gone and there is nothing you can really do about it. Your sleeping habits have changed completely and so much more that I can't even express.

Your trust of people in general is really gone no matter how you try to trust it becomes really difficult especially when people say to you "trust me" that to me is something I just can't even go there.

I think if they change the law there wouldn't be a statue of limitations on RAPE because the person that was raped carries it with them the rest of their lives.
