Haitian women are corageous, but they need a direct helping hand. Their safety and lives are at stake due to a cataclysm. We need to tell the World Bank and and Unifem to be more compassionate and help these women help themselves. A small amount monthly represents the freedom of choice that will make them stronger, without having to extend their hands in streets. This is not charity, this is a decent way of getting their lives back.
