"On Sunday 3rd January 2010 in the town of Olympia, Greece, a horse was dragged behind a car for 2km before being thrown into a ditch. Still alive and screaming in pain both the horse's forelegs were broken and it was completely skinned on one side with deep wounds exposing it's intestines. A vet later destroyed the horse humanely.

People who witnessed the incident reported it to police immediately and the person responsible apparently laughed and boasted about it. We are told by our counterparts in Greece, that police so far have not taken it seriously and have not apprehended the person who openly admits commiting this crime."

Dragging a horse to death deserves immediate prosecution!

Greetings,

I was shocked and horrified to learn of the terrible animal cruelty that occurred on Sunday 3rd January 2010 in the town of Olympia, Greece, regarding the dragging of a horse to its death.

Like so many people around the world, I was even more shocked to learn that those responsible have not been prosecuted, and that the police actually laughed and boasted about such a vile act!

Someone capable of dragging a horse behind a car for 2km before throwing it, alive and screaming in pain into a ditch with intestines exposed is beyond criminal. It shows a complete disregard for life and decency. Many scientific studies have proven beyond a doubt that those capable of such animal cruelty are also capable of equal cruelty to humans.

I implore you to take this matter seriously and prosecute those responsible to the fullest extent of the law. Animal cruelty must not be tolerated anywhere.

Please. Get involved. Let the world see that you are willing to stand up for what is good and right. Severely punish those responsible, and reprimand the police who found humor in such terrible pain.
