Protect the Caribou

The Issue

The federal government of Canada  is still considering changes to its draft Boreal Woodland Caribou Recovery Strategy under the Species-At-Risk Act. As you know, the draft strategy needs improvements to assure caribou’s long-term survival through adequate habitat protection measures.

Please help by collecting signatures on a petition in support of protecting boreal woodland caribou.
We’re aiming for 36,000 people to endorse this message to decision makers to protect the Woodland caribous' remaining habitat before it’s too late! That’s one person for every Boreal woodland caribou left in Canada . Saving caribou habitat is good for caribou and you, because Canada's Boreal forest is also one of the world’s largest stores of carbon.
Join over 26,000 people -- Sign the pledge for caribou.
