Whilst humour at University is almost a necessity to achieve a degree at times, especially during exam period, Facebook Spotted pages that encourage students to send in messages and comments that create an unwelcoming and at times a sexually harassing atmosphere to the University of Glasgow's library and other campus spaces are offensive and are a discredit to University's inclusive and equal opportunities reputation.

Previous action has been undertaken by the University against such "Spotted" sites and I hope such action can once again result in their removal and the restoration of safe, learning-focused atmospheres that spaces like the library and other campus areas are intended to be and not places where students should feel threatened by such language posted on social media.

I hope that now the University are aware that such sites can be contacted and asked to remove their page's as to end such disrepute being brought to the University's name.
