This was an iconic comic book, tv series, and trilogy of movies from the 1980's and 1990's that was a huge part of many people's childhoods. With millions of fans worldwide it does a serious disservice to change the plot in an unnecessary manner. Either make a faithful adaptation or leave it alone. Come up with your own ideas and stop stealing them from our collective childhoods. We are petitioning you to stop development. And if you continue, this serves as a list of all those who will boycott your production.
