Perlis Primate Park is located in the north on Malaysia close to the border with Thailand.

Entry is free. The cages are antiquated and dreadful. The primates are all appear to be hungry and thin.

There is no hope this park will ever be able to comply with the new law. Conditions at this park are beyond imagination – hell on earth.

Attempts to get the government department (PERHILITAN) responsible to investigate and then close this park have met with no response. Meanwhile the primates suffer.

Please will you help us motivate PERHILITAN to close the park?

It only takes a minute to sign and make a difference........"It's easy to do nothing, but your heart breaks a little more every time you do."- Mark Ruffalo

Thank you.

Prime Minister of Malaysia: Save The Primates At The Perlis Primate Park

Greetings, I just signed the petition to close the Perlis Primate Park in Malaysia

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak Prime Minister.

----------------

Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Sri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak
Prime Minister
Office of the Prime Minister
Blok Utama, Bangunan Perdana Putra
Pusat Pentadbiran Kerajaan Persekutuan

Dear Prime Minister,

The new Wildlife Conservation Act states very clearly:

Cruelty to wildlife 86. (1) Save as otherwise provided in this section, any person who - (c) keeps, houses, confines or breeds any wildlife in such manner so as to cause it unnecessary pain or suffering including the housing, confining or breeding of any wildlife in any premises which is not suitable for or conducive to the comfort or health of the wildlife;

There is no hope this shabby hell hole for primates will ever meet the standards laid down in the new law, is there Prime Minister?

CLOSE DOWN THE PERLIS PRIMATE LIVING HELL PARK – NOW.

It has no customers (who’d want to visit this nightmare place?), no conservation value, no educational value, no staff supervision and seemingly from the condition of the poor primates – no veterinary care and little food.

THIS PLACE IS INHUMANE TO WILD ANIMALS AND THE OWNERS DESERVE TO BE PROSECUTED - DON’T THEY?

Yours sincerely,

A Concerned Conservationist
