About this Petition Petition Letter

Because of "cuts" there is a possiblity in March that the Smithsonian could close.  Think of all of the culture that would be lost to us.  We already have had foreign aid programs that have helped those in need of food, that have received it (www.one.org, jubilee.org--sorry if I spelled it wrong) slashed that program.  So now it is up to us the American people to keep our rights, and keep them free. 

Please stand with me in signing this before March the 4th, which I have heard is when the final vote will be.

I am a fellow American. Born and raised here. I want to see the Smithsonian and see where there are budget cuts to close it. I don't like it. The Smithsonian is heritage and legindary in D.C. Close one or all, and you take part of a heritage. I as a person looking in know there are other ways to cut the budget so instead of taken my rights away from me and letting me go to a museum then do some other trimming.

I want my heritage to be there when I land in D.C. Not taken away. Whoever came up with this one shouldn't get re-elected.
