“Please reach out to me with your concerns about this committee. As your student representative, I know our focus should be on improving the access, quality and affordability of education to students. Let us not muddle this goal with the perceived, or actual, polarity of the group overseeing positive change. We have to raise our voice unanimously after careful debate and discussion about what is best for the system. If we approach the board individuals (of which another student and I are part of) with empirical evidence towards positive change, then we won't have to play the politics game; facts are much harder to argue with, even if they're coming from students. Let's give the members of the group our thoughts (beyond a carbon copied email) and they will listen. Students- raise your voices! ”
