The Sudanese government started new arrest campaign against Nub activists, and specially Nuba Christians, most of the detainees were detained in Khartoum and in Southern and North Kordofan.The detainees are facing inhuman treatment and torture, as among them women and elders who suffer from health problems.
Dozens of Nuba activists and even regular Nuba reported missing in the campaign started in May1st, 2013. Most of the detainee’s families did not know any informations yet about them, and their whereabouts remain unknown. The detainees are in danger of torture and ill treatment inside the detentions.
