Steve Benen recently suggested (http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/political-animal/2011_08/how_about_a_bachmanninspired_s031432.php) that we publicize all of the Republican requests for stimulus spending in their districts & "say yes." Use the bully pulpit to list & approve all of their requests, because you agree with their statements that it will create jobs, save infrastructure, etc. Once we see that those efforts are working, use the bully pulpit to talk about how great they worked - & that's why we need to expand to do the same, proven stimulus programs across the nation in general.
