The ACS is the only consistent source of information available to people and organizations interested in LOCAL social, economic, and business information.  If the bill is passed with an amendment to cut all funding to the American Community Survey:
--Legislators will not be able to make informed decisions about distributing economic, educational, relief, and other monies
--We will have to trust the government to run the country without the "useful information" called for by the father of the Constitution, James Madison
--Our most vulnerable populations' health and social well being will be put at risk
--The placement of shared government goods (e.g. transportation, schools, hospitals, etc.) will have very limited guidance

--Business development and housing initiatives will lose essential resources that are being employed to help turn around local economies
