Kent Brantly is a dedicated husband and father of two, but more than that he is dedicated to serving the human race. Kent has risked his life to offer medical treatment to those in Africa who may otherwise go without medical treatment. In the course of his selfless behavior, Kent contracted the Ebola virus. In typical Kent Brantly fashion, he has continued to communicate from his hospital bed via his laptop while simultaneously battling a deadly illness. This world is far better off with people like Kent in it, and we cannot afford to lose him. I would kindly ask the White House to support Samaritan's Purse as they attempt to best meet Kent's needs during this difficult time.

I do not know Nancy Writebol personally, but her heroism should not go unrecognized. The same health care that is being extended to Dr. Brantly should also be extended to Nancy Writebol.
