It would have been nice, wouldn't it, to say the very least, if the President many of us voted for would have acknowledged in his speech last night the needs of the Gulf Coast's most vulnerable citizens--the disabled, seniors, and particularly those with respiratory disorders, severe allergies, and compromised immune systems who require relocation assistance. It is way past time for our government and BP to acknowledge and respond to the needs of these citizens--we vote, too, remember??
