Why?

The cable park will stimulate and reinforce the local economy, compliment and extend recreational use in the Gorge as well as improve greatly upon the visual deficiencies currently plaguing the basin and waterfront.

What and Where?

The Hood River Cable Park will be located at Nichols Landing (the former Nichols Boat Works) on the Hood River waterfront. This is one of the most unique locations for a cable park in the world. 

Not only will the park be within walking distance of North America's premiere kiteboarding launch, but it's only a short drive to the undisputed hub of summertime snowsports: Mt. Hood, Oregon. 

The Hood River Cable Park will tow athletes right into the middle of the watersports action and is sure to breed a new generation of crossover pioneers. 

Plus, the Hood River Cable Park will be the only cable park in the world with its own onsite flagged hotel, making it easy to welcome guests from around the world.
