Pledge to Save Coral

Corals around the world are under threat from climate change, pollution, overfishing and consumer demand.

I support the reauthorization of a strong U.S. Coral Reef Conservation Act and an Appendix II listing under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) for red and pink corals, which are among the most valuable and widely traded of all coral species but the least protected.

These protections for corals will help safeguard them for future generations.
