I became vegetarian on June 1st 2009 and vegan on Valentine's Day 2010, after watching several videos of animal cruelty as well as watching the documentary “Earthlings”.  What we don’t know, or what we “don’t want to know” about the suffering of animals for our food is so disturbing that you “need” to watch these videos.

A friend of mine asked me why I was going vegan, because it “won’t make a difference”.  I explained that it makes a difference to me, and it makes a difference to the animals.

My all time favorite singer Michael Jackson sang “If you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and make a change”.  That is what I did, and I truly believe I am making the world a better place!  Won’t you join me?
