The runaway hit show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" unexpectedly created a fanbase that brought people, men and women alike, together thanks to it's positive storytelling and fun mythos. So much that fans began to shout out it's love to the show along with their messages of love, tolerance and friendship.

But near end of January of 2013, a big spoiler of the season 3 finale came up which seemingly divided the community. And that spoiler is the crowning of the main character, a unicorn named Twilight Sparkle. While many expected to this happen because of the story planned clues, what many never expected is the addition of a pair of wings.

In the show, the demography of the pony kingdom is divided in per say 4 races which are the Earth ponies, the Pegasus (ponies with wings), the Unicorns (ponies with horns), and the Alicorns (ponies with both wings and horns). The Alicorns are shown mostly related to royalty while the others serves other functions like Earth ponies use strenght, Pegasus control weather, and Unicorns uses magic and wisdom. Now that the main character is becoming royalty, she will be transformed from unicorn to alicorn which comes off as a move that is apparently racists as well as negative move for a show that promotes friendship and equality of races.

As for now, now the fan community has been divided into people who accepts that chance, people who doesn't care, and people who panics. This petiton is inspired by watching the discussions, the video overreactions and the unsettling feeling that the show finally will "jump the shark". Is a petition to tell the higher staff of the show to think about what this has caused and come off with an idea to remove the wings off the character. This petition feels imortant because is a show that touched many hearts, including myself. Many would see that there are important matters to attend, but is it wrong to care for a TV show that brings happiness to many people? This is not a petiton for the sake of fanservice, this is a petiton to make the staff realize that you don't need wings to be a special unicorn.
