The residents oppose this mega-sports complex plan of commercial over-development and the intrusion of non-residential activity as it will have a devastating effect on the residential neighborhoods and significant adverse environmental impacts upon the area surrounding the proposed complex. The historical documented impacts of such development that we want to prevent by denying this proposal include traffic congestion, increased crime, significant loss of property values, and environmental threats such as air pollution from all the extra cars (1800 parking spots),destruction of natural habitats for wild life (removal of trees and vegetation), light glare from the sports fields, excess noise and change in the overall image and appearance of the community.
