A rabbit is not like a hamster or guinea pig - they are not meant to be caged! There is more to them than meets the eye and Petsupermarket does not inform the customers enough. They simply ask them if they have a CAGE (which is WRONG) and then they have you sign a paper stating you can return the dead or sick rabbit and get a WHOLE NEW ONE, as if they are merely creatures and not a pet.

There are too many rabbits that are in shelters because people buy them from Petsupermarket or any other pet store that sells them - especially for Easter! These are not toys nor are they for little children! They are a lifetime dedication... Bunnies live anywhere from 10-14 years! Each of them have their own personalities and characteristics that you have to have time to figure out. I will again say, they are not meant to be caged up! And if you must, they should be out getting exercise or human/animal interaction for a few hours a day.

Therefore, rabbits should no longer be sold at any pet store! There are too many being euthanized in shelters. Please support this petition. :)
