In order to bring attention to the need for much greater awareness and funding to eradicate all forms of childhood cancer. A National Day of Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness will be dedicated to encouraging as many people as possible to wear gold on a designated day to show support for those who have been touched by childhood cancer. On that day we will urge major league sports teams to wear gold, we will urge politicians, celebrities, and media personalities to wear gold in order to raise greater awareness and increased funding until all childhood cancer is defeated. I dream of the day when no other mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers have to feel the searing pain of losing a son, daughter, or sibling to the monster that is childhood cancer. Our little Heroe's and Angels deserve all the attention we can possibly bring to fighting Childhood Cancer. There is strength in numbers and if the numbers are great enough they will not be ignored!
