Petition the Termination of Officer Henry Ritter in Chattanooga,TN: We would like for Officer Henry Ritter to be removed from Duty.

Officer Henry Ritter of the Hamilton County Police Department and Task Force takes advantage of his position often pushing the limits of his jurisdiction to make arrests. Several Claims have been made regarding that the Officer has often been guilty of Profiling, (Claims denied by Ritter) As well as many claims that their Miranda Rights were never read to them before interrogation.

The following article explains the majority of what we are trying to express. A group of students on their way to Bonarroo were allegedly pulled over and charged with possession, those charges were dismissed and you will see why in the following article.

Mr. Mayor,

     I wanted to contact you to ask for your assistance in a very pressing matter.  Officer Henry Ritter from the Hamilton County Sheriff's office needs to be removed from Duty for a number of reasons.
I was arrested by Officer Ritter in March of 2011, I wasn't read my Miranda Rights, and I was threatened into cooperation and testimony without the presence of my Lawyer.  From the very moment I was ripped out of my vehicle, I demanded a lawyer, this of course did not stop Henry Ritter and his team.
My case was ultimately dismissed without proof and without Trial.  My record was therein Expunged and I thought this was all behind me.
Almost a year Later I find out that there is a warrant for my arrest on the same charges, I am arrested again and taken to jail.
I was forced to Bond out again, and am also having to retain my attorney for the second time.

I now understand that Officer Ritter is in the process of Changing Departments, and that he decided to do everything he could do to reopen all of his cases.
This Manhunt has cost me my business, my part-time job, and almost my spouse.  It needs to stop.

I have started the Petition for the Termination of Henry Ritter on Change.com, as well as Facebook.
Started yesterday I almost have 10 people signing the petition, with a goal of 1500.
I would like for you to take a look at this petition, and the comments that have been made.

Officer Ritter and his flawed agendas are not prosecuting those who deserve it, but ripping the lives citizens apart.  His wild goose chases for evidence bankrupt us, and for what a $300 Fine?
My case was dismissed, and the only reason he decided to open it again was because his career was changing.
After months of Harassment, I did cooperate and was told by the team that I would be remembered when my court date came back around.
Only now do I understand that this was just another Scheme.

Your support would be fantastic, as I know that Election is coming up next month.
Anything that could be done regarding my case as well would be much appreciated.  I have already spent over 11,000 between lawyer fees, and bonds.
If we could stop this Wild Goose Chase, I could move on with my life, re-open my business, and bring back jobs to the city.
Between my two companies, that is at least thirty jobs.
I can't however afford to do that until this is behind me and Expunged AGAIN!
