Petition for the U.S. Government to review & reform laws regarding Marijuana

Please review & reform marijuana laws

Greetings,

We here the people of the United States of America, a country which was formed on one sole principle. Freedom. Freedom from tyranny and oppression. Freedoms which are being taken away, and of one which freedom we are sending you to convince you to reform this law.

Marijuana is an all natural plant, placed on this earth by God for us to enjoy.
Marijuana has many uses including curing medical illnesses, removing pain, helping with mental disorders. Marijuana even has use in industrial fields with uses such as clothing, rope, paper, oil, food, and health care products.

We are petitioning you to review the laws regarding Marijuana and to have the entire plant legalized for those over the age of 18, and to remove all criminal and civil penalties involved.

Your drug war against marijuana has been completely ineffective. The only thing it has done is caused harm to our economy and our citizens. It has torn apart families by putting honest citizens in jail for a harmless crime. It has spent billions upon billions of dollars in Law Enforcement dollars, court fees and other related fees. These fees have added a large part of our countries debt.

This country is making no money off keeping Marijuana illegal, but if made legal, the country does have the opportunity to tax the plant, and its industrial use, and would be able to make a very large amount of taxes back to help towards our ever growing debt.

Now please, review all laws regarding Marijuana, and legalize it. Stop prosecuting honest citizens because of this harmless plant. Legalization will greatly decrease our countries crime rate, as well as take a big hit at the Mexican Cartels.

Please use your best judgement, review all the real research involved in marijuana, all of its possible uses, and legalize marijuana.
