We have an extraordinary opportunity to offer Spanish next year during the school day just like other specials.  Parents of K-2nd grade have been surveyed and 80% responded to say they can afford the cost ($38.88/ month) and the program is offering scholarships to make up the difference so that Spanish can be offered to all students regardless of their ability to pay.   Moreover, this program could be offered all grades with enough parental interest and support.   

The next SDCCS Board meeting is this coming Tuesday, June 21st. Please add your name to the petition letting the Board know that you are interested in this high quality program. PLEASE FORWARD THIS PETITION to other parents and staff school-wide and encourage their support.   Thank you!
