Repeal this legislation

Daniel Salgado
Daniel Salgado
Cary, NC, United States
Created May 8, 2012

The Issue

It violates the U.S. Constitution, Amendment 14, Section 1, and also denies NC citizens of their inalienable rights, such as the pursuit of happiness. The Constitution is the "supreme law of the land" and supersedes any state legislation.

The ballot text can be found anywhere, but here is the link to the exact document:
http://ncleg.net/Sessions/2011/Bills/Senate/PDF/S514v3.pdf

This bill fails to recognize unmarried couples as partnerships, denying them of rights such as child services, social services, protection from domestic violence, and other things. This is unconstitutional and needs to be repealed.

Please sign and share if you are against this.

Thank you.
