While we recognize that every company, nay, every person has a right to establish and build economic devices to benefit themselves and their families, we do not believe these actions should be to the detriment of peoples' faith, culture and nationhood. RastafaRye Ale, is a direct affront to the nation of Rastafari peoples and more importantly, is a slap in the face of The Imperial Family of Ethiopia, who while may not currently be seated on the throne, still exist in the form of the Crown Council.

No other faith or national group would be so blatantly disrespected. No Muslim, no Christian, no Buddhist, no Hindu, no Jewish person would be so inexplicably affronted. Please help to have the name RastafaRye Ale changed and any such reference to His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie the 1st, removed from the products and websites.
