PETA has gone too far this time. The "Mario Kills Tanooki" video game is an insult to the fans who love Mario and Nintendo. First, they spit out a video game with out compeletly researching who and what a Tanooki is and how much they mean to the Japanese culture. The video game they created shows Mario in a Tanooki Suit with blood dripping from all over him while he is holding a head of a crying dead Tanooki. They are saying that Mario is "Sending the Message that it is OKAY to skin the animals alive for their fur." On the contrary, i believe that Mario is embracing the Japanese cultures love for this Creature and making the animal become part of Such a popular icon.

Second Mario always EATS the leaves or mushrooms and the side effects of the object he's eaten give him whichever powers depending on the object.

Third This isn't the first time Mario has worn the suit of an animal. In the past there has been a frog, a Koopa Bros Shell, a Penguin, etc. Why are they only now saying something.

PETA is good about going after poor pigs and chickens who live in a cage no bigger than they are, but we want for them to stick to real creatures. Not go after someone we love since the dawn of video games.
