Each and everyday, stories flood news networks and newspapers disclosing unspeakable acts of sexual violence against children. These stories wrench our hearts and make us hold our own children just a little closer. What could be worse than committing such a disgusting act against a child? Using the evidence of such an act, be it photographs or videos or some other from of media to perpetuate one's own agenda. This is exactly what happened when Meri Jane Woods downloaded various images of sexual crimes against children in a poorly executed attempt to frame her estranged husband. Woods took the time to download these images to her computer, but lacked any concern for the poor children being abused in the files. Let us not be people who stand aside and let individuals like Meri Jane Woods exploit the crimes against innocent children for personal gain. Meri Jane Woods purposefully sought out pornographic images of children. Does this make her a pedophile? Not necessarily. Does this make her a criminal? Yes. The real victims here are the children in each of those images. Give these children a voice and do not let the woman exploiting receive any less than the full punishment for her crime.
