For many years members of both House and Senate have had to spend too much time raising funds for their ever more costly campaigns; while excluding those who historically have had less oppurtunities, access to upward mobility, success and the support systems, access to donators that would go along with them- effectively, reinforcing the diascriminatory processes of voter exclusion of non-caucasians, of the past, for e.g., Jim Crow laws, etc..  As a result they have inadequate time to do their jobs, and heavy dependence on wealthy donors, most notably big corporations; and a system of defacto exclusion of non-caucasians in the political aspirant pool, collaterally, etc.. The unpopular Supremacy Court decision in "Citizens United" has now now opened the door wider to corporate influence.  The best way to reduce lobbyists' influence and to give members time to do their jobs is publicly supported campaign financing. The Fair Elections Now Act will improve and expand this badly needed system.  I urge Congress to pass the Fair Elections Now Act, now.
