A sheriff deputy shot and killed my family lab on july,25,2012. Deputy Thomas Downs had no protocol he had to follow, before he pulled his gun. Now this man, nor the department does not have to answer to anyone for the heartbreak they have caused my family. I want there to be more k-9 training involved in police training, a protocol they have to follow, and for families of victims to be able to get justice without the police trying to bury it.
