As the video makes painfully clear, the lack of World War II and Holocaust knowledge among some of Pennsylvania's best and brightest students is unacceptable. More than the rote learning of historical facts, Holocaust education has the potential to not only raise students' awareness of injustices in school, in their communities, and around the world, but can empower them to do something about it. All students need this education, and Pennsylvania now has an opportunity to become a model of how it can be done.
