He has ruled in favor of Michelle Kosilek for a tax- payer funded sex reassignment surgery. Michelle Kosilek, born a man was convicted and sentenced to life for killing his wife in 1990.

I am not against sex reassignment surgery, however unless the Honorable Judge wishes to fund the surgery himself; it should not be at the tax- payers expense especially for a convicted murderer. It is unfair, unwise and utterly outrageous to have tax payers fund a murderer's sex change.
