Our system is not working for us.  Most of us are unhappy with the decisions that are made for us supposedly on our behalf.  Our government has made a mockery of the constitution.  How is it possible that most of us can agree on issues such as the legalization of marijuana or the inaccuracies and fallacies of our taxation system, yet we have absolutely no power to bring the changes that we wish to see?  How can a government that we pay for be allowed to keep secrets from us, start wars without our consent, and take our rights away?  The only ones that are benefiting are the rich, banks, and large corporations.  Let's start taking it apart brick by brick.  Let us all demand for a popular vote of the people to decide what laws and bills will be passed and what decisions will be made.  We are the majority.  Our "representatives" are rich, white, old men that have never known hunger, or the desperation that living in a capitalist society can bring.  How on earth can they be expected to speak for us?  It has already been proven that our "leaders" are not any wiser or morally superior compared to the rest of the population.  The fact that there are people still hungry, homeless, and desperate proves that they have not been doing an adequate job.  I believe that America is capable of deciding what America wants.  We have the technology in place to ensure that everyone gets a vote.  Lets change a governmental system that is not working for us.  Has not worked for us.  The time to act is now.  Demand a government of complete transparency of the people for the people.
